The government of Baja California in alliance with Grupo Modelo, launched "La Ruta de la Cerveza", with the objective of strengthening the beer culture in the state and to continue promoting the state's craft beer entrepreneurs.

According to Mario Jesus Escobedo Carignan, head of Baja California's Department of Sustainable Economy and Tourism (SEST), this route consists of a web page and a mobile application, which emerged from the identification of places for beer tasting in the state, which represents 17 percent of production nationwide, equivalent to 195 producers in the state.

How does it work? By accessing the portal www.larutadelacerveza.com the user can take a virtual tour of the establishments in the region, in addition to having tourist and general interesting data regarding restaurants, lodging, sites and characteristic activities found in each municipality of this entity; thus creating a personalized route.

Without a doubt a very useful tool for local and foreign tourists, which will help them not to miss out on everything that characterizes Baja Norte, such as its craft beer and gastronomy.

What do you think about this news? Have you already entered "La Ruta de la Cerveza"?
